Job Overview

Committed Project ManagerWe are seeking a dedicated, precise and timely Project Manager to join our team at Evytal in Kampala, Uganda. As an experienced Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding innovation, brand strategy and marketing projects on time and within budget, contributing to our mission of bringing innovative change to Uganda, East-Africa, and beyond. We are looking for a committed, responsible, research-minded, and dedicated intrapreneur, who’s eager to learn, adapts quickly to new methods, knowledge, and technology, and hungry and disciplined in driving change, while being politically savvy and sensitive at A-level private and public companies. Someone who is keen on operational effectiveness and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans aligned with our innovative brand strategy, and ensure projects meet international standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration among our talented teams and ensure seamless project execution
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the main point of contact and providing regular project updates.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage project resources, maximizing productivity and innovation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet or exceed international quality standards, emphasizing attention to detail.
  • Results Measurement: Use KPIs and data analytics to measure project success and provide actionable insights for global decision-making.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Encourage and facilitate innovative thinking within the project team to develop creative and impactful brand strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets effectively to ensure projects stay within allocated financial limits.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, milestones, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Professional Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the project team.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in a marketing or brand strategy agency.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, marketing, technology, communicaitons and advertising.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the use of project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
  • Flawless English is a must, other international languages are a plus.
