Club History

Mateus was born in Brazil and has been playing in his home country for his entire life. He represented Esporte Clube Primavera in 2015 to 2018 and participated in the U-17, U-20 championships and played in 3 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júniores, which is the highest U-20 competition in São Paulo.
In 2018, Mateus was loaned to Esporte Clube VITÓRIA where he played for the U-20s and the U-23s as a regular starter. In addition to playing the the youth leagues, he also played for the professional first team Brazilian Championship A Series where he gained first hand experience in the best league in Brazil.

In 2019, Mateus was loaned to Internacional FC where he was able to continue his growth and development at a very prestigious and famous Brazilian club. At only 20 years old he had trained with many of the big names of the club and played against many of the elite players of the Serie A. His contract at the club ended on June 30th 2020 allowing him to have had a season with Internacional and grow and develop under excellent coaches and mentors. Matues returned to Esporte Clube Primavera and renewed a played there until the end of 2020 where he signed a 1 year contract with Grêmio Esportivo Anápolis. Mateus looks to make the most of this opportunity that has presented itself to him and will seek to improve and grow as a footballer.

In addition to all the clubs Mateus has represented, he has also played for the U-20 Brazilian National Youth Side. This is an amazing achievement and is a accurate representation of his talent and skills. He looks forward to continue representing his country and wants to play in major tournaments for his country.
